Do you want to make video screen capture but don’t want to use Jing? Another great free tool is Screencast-O-Matic This is an ultra-simple program you do not even need to download to use.

This can be used from the web only. In fact it just like Jing, Screencast-O-Matic will upload directly to your YouTube channel.

I downloaded some ringtones, now what? Why don’t I see them in my tones?

So with the purchase of my latest phone I have now become an iPhone user. Right off the bat I was very disappointed in the lack of ringtones available. So I did the natural thing and downloaded a ringtone app.

The only problem is, when I downloaded the files they don’t show up in my ring tone options. So I had to actually learn by reading the instructions, imagine that!

Now I have the ringtones I’ve been looking for!

Ever wonder what all those keys are for that you don’t use on the keyboard? Well this awesome Chromebook does not waste space with these unnecessary keys!

Having said that you will need to learn just a little bit about the new key setup. But the efficiency of the whole Chromebook will make up for it completely.

I have a  Google Nexus 7  Tablet but I needed to have full screen view of websites with the full-blown Chrome browser, this Chromebook delivers that.

It is ultra simple to set up. Yesterday I walked into a restaurant with Wi-Fi, opened up my Chromebook and within seconds was online!

Do you ever have that dread of opening up your laptop knowing that it is going to take time to setup and find a place to plug in? You will not with this little machine. I really can do some work for 15 min. close lid and walk away without even having to worry about turning it off.

Battery life. I love the battery life! I haven’t even taken the charge cord with me for the past couple of days.

The only negative I would have about this is the size of the screen. Although at the same time that’s why I have a Chromebook instead of a 17 inch laptop, I need portability.

As a business tool. I would buy this again in a minute! Saying something happened to it, all I have to do is buy another one login and i’m back in business. This means a lot when you’re using it as a business tool.

I love simple, because simple gets done! The Chromebook is a simple and now essential business tool for me.

You will find out soon if you don’t already know, I think you should make sure you have some of the basic free marketing systems covered before you spend money on anything else. This is true with QR codes. Some may want to charge for this but it is so simple you really can handle it yourself.

Another program you should keep in mind is Google+ Local. Every business should have their profile setup these days. This is a story of one company that lost business because they had “good seo” and bad Local SEO. Get on Google places to make sure you can be found when people are ready to buy!

I believe it was Benjamin Franklin who only took on 1 or 2 challenges to improve at a time. But he took on 4 to 6 strengths to improve on.

For the sake of this post let’s assume that 1 represents a weak spot. And 10 represents the strongest you can be. So let’s say you have an area where you are 5 and you want to be a 10, how can you get there? Focus on it and not your weaknesses.

Why would you have an Internet marketer as part of your marketing staff? This is relatively new field that still has a lot of unknown information around. It seems I hear something new every day that someone’s buying that probably won’t be here a couple years from now.

Everyone is interested in the Internet and its marketing potential but they just don’t know where to go. That is why you would hire an Internet marketer be part of your team.

Would you hire a builder to do the job of an architect? Yet so many people hire a graphic designer/website designer to do their online marketing this should not be so.

The last thought I want to mention, is the qualifications of the Internet marketer. Like I said earlier this is a relatively new field so being “qualified” is not very well defined. So make sure to watch my blog for future definitions of what Internet marketers should, and should not sell you.

Why Facebook must Look Out for the changes with Google+ (G+). And what this means for your business.

First off Google works well for business before they ever became social. Now that the social part is in… Look Out Facebook!

Here is what I found when I opened my calender this morning:

Google+ Events

Where facebook has started as a social program and works well for that, they are second to business. So the differance is that Google is business first and now social with the business working well already.

What does this mean for you? You can use many different sites or devices and all your content goes to the same network, Google+.

Want to review a restaurant? That is Google+ Local! When you post that review it posts to G+. Then others can 1+ it and comment on it. Then this all will show up all over the place,  even in search results!

Want to find an address?

That is Google Maps, and Google+ Local is part of Maps so you can jump right over there and all this from your mobile phone. Where is all this on facebook? I know they have some of it but… Google is so deep in so many places… Look out facebook!

What about checking in?

Yes Google has that too (part of local)!

Do you have a business that you want people checking in at? Should you be on G+?

What if you want to know if a restaurant has good review?

You will find that in Maps or Local. Would you like to konw what your friends think of a restaurant? How about finding out without even contacting them? You can do this from your phone because G+ is right there. Look out facebook!

We already search on Google, so with G+ we know what our friends have said on it from their posts!

What if your you where posting on your niche topics. And your friends found what you said when they searching because they where ready to buy, do you think that would help you sell your goods or services? YES IT WOULD! This is why I say Look out facebook!
