Movie Review “In Time” and How They Missed it!
Just watched the movie In Time. I have to say I enjoyed the hi-tech sci-fi but I have to point out what was totally off with the story line. I mean way off, but the “99%” believe it! And if you are to succeed in business you have to be very clear as to why you are “making” money.
The rich in the movie where rich in time -for those who have not seen it. And then we have a mix between Bonnie and Clyde with Robbin Hood. They went to the “Rich” and took their time or wealth with these words “is it stealing if you are taking back what was stolen?” In fact when the got into the big safe and took from the “capitalist” what did they steal? His first million!
If you believe the movie then we as business owners take or steal from ours customers when they buy from us! We want more profit so we want more of “them” to die because there is only so much out there right? The pie is only so big or as the movie said it “many must die so few may live”
Bill Gates is rich because he has improved millions of lives and the wealth has found it’s way back to him. But if you believe the movie then many people have died to make him rich and that wealth must be taken back and given to the poor. And when it is given to the poor (working class) they will stop working. So the business owners job? Keep the poor, poor so they keep working and dying to keep the business owners rich. NOT TRUE!
Bill Gates has added to many lives and in fact saved much time for us. Then what does real wealth do? It seeks him out because it -wealth needs Bill to keep it up. Because wealth is alive and is only happy when the people are benefited.
You know what folks? I am as rich as I am to the same degree as the number of people I have helped. The more lives I touch and BENEFIT the more wealth will find me!
Yet according to the movie, Oprah has stolen her wealth and she should give it back! Umm, I think she loves to give to people all the time. According to the REAL rules of money, she is rich because she has enriched the lives of many many people! Not because she has taken a bigger piece of pie. And we want her to get richer because she is adding value to all of us by doing what she does!
